As you comb, the V-Comb extracts head lice and eggs into a disposable capture filter within the unit. After treatment, simply detach it from the unit and secure the lid to seal off trapped head lice and eggs. There’s no more guessing if your head lice treatment has worked because it’s all in the filter!
Is the V-Comb suitable for anyone?
The V-Comb can be used on all hair types and ages. Be careful when using or leaving it around young children as there are small parts that could pose as a choking hazard and the power cord could present a strangulation hazard.
Can I use the V-Comb on more than one child?
Yes! You can use it on more than one child, but make sure the unit is cleaned thoroughly after each use.
Can I use the V-Comb on wet hair?
Yes, but the V-Comb will operate more effectively on dry hair. If the hair is wet or contains products such as conditioner or other removal products it will clog the V-Comb head which will make the product less effective. (Please make sure hair is towel dried and not dripping wet.)
How do I use a Capture Filter
Securely attach capture filter to the V-Comb combing head, ensuring it snaps into place (until you hear a click). Reattach the combing head to the main body by aligning the guiding arrows and twist to lock.
After treatment is complete, immediately remove the Capture Filter from the V-Comb and snap on the lid before discarding.
